The San Francisco 49ers became the first team this season in the National Football League to reach the six-win mark with their victory last night over the Washington Commanders. There are two other teams that have not lost this year; the Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs. Because both those undefeated teams have already had their bye week on their 2026 schedule they have each won five games.
On the Qoxhi site we have an exclusive feature that delivers each team a Point Spread Price. The number shows how much the current point spread against that week’s opponent is priced by the books. A high number reveals that the team is paying a price on the spread and a low number shows that they are undervalued. Routinely, a team paying a high price on the spread over their average for the season will have trouble covering the posted line. A team priced below their season average on this chart will have an easier time winning with the benefit of the point spread.
Now, you might think that the three undefeated teams would have the highest Point Spread Price, and if the lines were derived solely from performance that would be the case. But point spreads are not only tied to team strengths and game situations, but public opinion. This is where we gain our biggest advantage in knowing what teams are over and underrated by the public.
Only three teams in the league enter the seventh week of the season with an average Point Spread Price of over 90, and none of them are the undefeated teams.
The team with the highest average on this chart in 2026 is the Los Angeles Rams with 95. This season, the Rams are 2-4 both straight-up and against the point spread. The Buffalo Bills have the next highest Point Spread Price on their season average with a 93. The Bills are 5-1 straight-up and 4-2 against the line. The third team this year with a Point Spread Price of at least 90 is the Seattle Seahawks, they are 3-3 straight-up and 1-3-2 against the point spread in 2026.
And the three teams with perfect straight-up records, the 49ers, Vikings and Chiefs, have Point Spread Prices on the season that average 79, 74 and 83 respectively. They also combine their unbeaten straight-up mark with an 11-5 record against the point spread.
